Institutional; Commercial; Residential. Academic + Arts; Civic + Non-Profit. Hired by a prominent photographic post-production studio, we developed a center for a growing business and brand. We were hired by the New York's State University Construction Fund to design a significant addition to and a dramatic reconceiving of a 1968 I.M. We renovated this full-floor loft on the 7th floor of a building in the Financial District to benefit from great natural light on four sides. We served as design architect of the residential units at 432 Park Avenue, the noted and exceptionally tall tower developed by Harry Macklowe and CIM Group. We connected a ground floor flat with the apartment above to create a duplex maisonette in a 1929 Art Deco building on the East Side of Manhattan. Deborah Berke Partners · Work · People · Office. Located in a loft building, in space delivered 'raw' to the owner, we designed this this duplex apartment around a tall living room with grand windows. 21c Durham reimagines the Hill Building, designed in 1937 by Shreve, Lamb & Harmon, architects of the Empire State Building. We designed this Hamptons compound when the property's existing, beloved Norman Jaffe house no longer fit our client's needs.
